DANCE in India comprises the varied styles of dances and as with other aspects of India culture, different forms of dances originated in different parts of India, developed according to the local traditions and also imbibed elements from other parts of country.Br> these dances forms emerged from Indian traditions, epics and historical- mythology.

What to do

For solo dance:

  • There are two rounds in this dance:
  • You have to perform on stage maximum 2 min for first first round.
  • You have to perform on stage maximum 4 min for second round.
  • For group dance:

  • There is only one rounds in this dance.
  • You have to perform on stage maximum 8+2 min for entry to exit.
  • Theme should be maintain
    • RULES
      • For solo dance:
      • 1st round:
      • Time limit-2 minutes maximum.
      • Genre - any dance form
      • Final round:
      • Time limit- 4 minutes maximum.
      • Genre - any dance form.
      • For group dance-
      • Minimum team size is 8 and there is no maximum team limit but if the team member exceed 25 then you have to inform us before 2 days.
      • Minimum 4 on stage at all point during the performance.
      • Theme given should be maintained.


    For solo dance:

  • Facial expression and body language.
  • Choreography.
  • Creativity and presentation.
  • Over all clarity and impact.
  • Prop utilization.
  • Versatility and beat sense.
  • For group dance

  • Theme depiction
  • Choreography.
  • Co-ordination
  • Creativity will be given weightage
  • Prop utilization
  • Stage utilization

    For solo dance

  • Winner - 5000/-
  • Runner up - 2000/-
  • For group dance

  • Winner - 10000/-
  • Runner up - 5000/-

  • All students with a valid identity card of their respective educational institutes are eligible to participate in this Competition
